Brett Dearing started working as a full time Piano technician during the mid 1980's starting at the Burgett Piano Co. in Sacramento which became Pianodisc. Pianodisc later acquired the Mason & Hamlin Piano company in Haverill MA.
Brett maintains a private, in home, Piano Service clientel while also sharing workshop piano rebuilding space with Dale Fox.
